This blog was originally meant as an aviation blog where I could share my translations of aeronautical articles and essays from English to Italian and vice versa. Much of Italian aviation history remains unknown to the Anglosphere, just as much aviation history from English-speaking countries is likely unfamiliar to Italian readers. I had also hoped to include some of my own illustrations, but as you’ll notice while leafing through these pages, there are not many. I hope to create and share more drawings in the future. Over time, I began translating articles and essays on other subjects that interested me, as well as short stories, and posting them on the blog. Aeroplane to Aeroplano gradually became an eclectic publication only loosely connected to aeronautics. Some time ago, I split the blog into three separate sections: aeronautical, historical/political, and philosophical-religious. ((I am not a philosopher, theologian, or historian, but I had translated and posted some works in those fields.) In hindsight, that was a mistake: once separated, the three blogs lost the visibility the original had achieved as a whole. So I decided to reunite Aeroplane to Aeroplano under its original name, which is the blog you’re reading now. My ideas have also changed over time, so some posts may now seem contradictory. Even when they no longer reflect my current thinking, I still consider them interesting. Think of this as a disclaimer—though I take full responsibility for everything I wrote; and I’d be happy to discuss anything with you in the comments section. Thank you very much for your attention. In origine, questo blog era stato concepito come uno spazio dedicato all'aviazione, dove condividere le mie traduzioni di articoli e saggi aeronautici dall'inglese all'italiano e viceversa. Gran parte della storia dell'aviazione italiana è sconosciuta al mondo anglofono, così come molta storia dell'aviazione dei paesi di lingua inglese è probabilmente ignota ai lettori italiani. Avevo anche sperato di includere alcune mie illustrazioni, ma – come noterete sfogliando queste pagine – non ce ne sono molte. Spero di realizzare e condividere altri disegni in futuro. Col tempo, ho iniziato a tradurre e pubblicare sul blog articoli e saggi su altri argomenti di mio interesse, oltre a racconti. *Aeroplane to Aeroplano* è diventato gradualmente una pubblicazione eclettica, legata all'aeronautica solo in modo marginale. Qualche tempo fa, ho suddiviso il blog in tre sezioni distinte: aeronautica, storico-politica e filosofico-religiosa. (Non sono un filosofo né un teologo, ma ho solo tradotto cose che mi interessavano). Col senno di poi, è stato un errore: una volta separati, i tre blog hanno perso la visibilità che quello originale aveva raggiunto nel suo insieme. Ho quindi deciso di riunire tutto sotto il nome originale di *Aeroplane to Aeroplano*: è il blog che state leggendo ora. Anche le mie idee sono cambiate nel corso del tempo; di conseguenza, alcuni post potrebbero apparire contraddittori. Tuttavia, anche quando non rispecchiano più il mio pensiero attuale, continuo a considerarli interessanti. Considerate questa una sorta di "liberatoria" – sebbene io mi assuma la piena responsabilità di quanto scritto; sarò lieto di discutere qualsiasi argomento con voi nella sezione dedicata ai commenti.
