Rutan Boomerang Il processo evolutivo (o creativo?) che portò alla realizzazione del bimotore asimmetrico Boomerang, nelle (poche) parole del suo creatore, Burt Rutan:   “ Il Boomerang è un nuovo aereo bimotore leggero pressurizzato a cinque posti, per uso personale. Il mio obiettivo principale era quello di ottenere prestazioni ottimali con due motori Lycoming a pistoni turbocompressi. La cosa più difficile, nello sviluppo del Boomerang, è stato dover spiegare la ragione per la quale avrei progettato un bimotore con una configurazione asimmetrica.
